Aesirs:

 -Name of the group of people, to which Odin, Freja and the other 'Norse Gods' belonged.

Anann:

-Archaic, name for mother-Mother Earth. All may not agree with me on this; see "Encyclopedia Mythica" (online) for a narrower interpretation

Ancient Dread:

-After the myth, little information it to be had of the Ancient Dread, but the after-effect from Nuclear War was very apparent according to many tales, but hard to understand, until the after-effects from the first nuclear bomb, which fell in the Second World War.

The legend tells of King Gorm's visit to the Troll King Geirrodur's Castle, and where his men were told not to touch anything and take no souvenirs. One of King Gorm's men could not resist the display of Troll Treasure and picked up a wrist bracelet, which turned into a snake and bit his hand off. The overall description of the conditions of the Trolls sound like radiation poison, retold by people who had no concept of nuclear power or its side effects; anyone, you think that nuclear weapons is a new invention, they are sadly mistaken, it is not even a second or a third time someone have come up with that idea. However, nuclear powers of any form or shape have been banned in the Milky Way and the rest of our Universe, except for here on the only Free Will Planet, in a way it was a test and we failed.

 Bard: n. A Celtic poet and minstral.

Bane:

-n. O.E. Bana. Common Teut. That which causes ruins; ruin; poison.

Cernunnos

-In Celtic mythology, he is the antler-horned god, associated with wild and domesticated animals. Also, seen riding a horse with his anchorage, hunting people who did misdeeds against his weren folk and kin; said to be the Leader of the wild hunt. (For more in-depth, see Encyclopedia Mythica (online).

Daketh:

-Archaic spelling name for Death, representing Dark and Darkness. Later also spelled Deeth.

Dark Whisperer:

-giver of false promises, a darker version of the Grey Harper (see same): A person who want control over other people; later Christians would refer to him/her as Satan.

'Down Under':

-is a slang word used for the Australian Continent. Also see Loki.

Doorway(s):

-A Doorway(s) is a mode of travelling into another Timeline. Our Reality is Holographic and consists of 12 parallel Timelines (that include ours), we may not necessarily be in all of them all the time. We may have died in some of them, but we do move in and out of them all the time; sometime just taking a shortcut, avoiding specific event; sometime for a short visit and sometime we change permanent residency to another Timeline or move to this one -for example, to avoid the third world war.

Elven or Elle:

-Is the same species the Aesirs refer to as the Vanirs, the ones that most interacted with humans were tall (over 7 feet), with white skin and silver hair (male), female had black hair, their eye color is said to be silver/violet. However, there are other Elves, who come in as many colors and eye colors as humans. Elves (plural), Elve (Single), as a people Elven or Elle. Do not confuse them with Elfs (plural) Elf (single), which are very small beings with or without wings, as a people known as Fairies.

Fane:

-Profane, a. F. Profanus L, to violate, desecrates.

Foo Fighters (Foos):

-Unidentified flying objects, following English Fighter pilots (and others) in the Second World War; they seemed quite interested in what the Planes and the pilots were doing. The pilots described them as balls of light in different colors, such as red, orange or shimmering silver. They never harmed any of the flyers, only observed them. They also appeared different to other observed UFOs. According to Scandinavian myths, this is how the Vanirs appear in their true travel form. They are energy based beings of less solid matter than 3D form, and shape-changers. They can appear in human form if they want to. They are also known as the "The Shining Ones."

Freja:

-Danish spelling of Frigg, the name of Odin's wife.

Gate(s):

-Gates are mostly Star Gates, which goes from Star to Star, and only Energy Beings of the highest vibration can travel this way. All Stars and Stars like our Sun is much more than we thing it is, like the Earth, it is an intelligent consciousness and she/he also has other being living within it, they vibrate at a rate that the Sun will appear cool to them.

Geas:

-a spell/ compulsion put on a person, so that he/she must do a certain deed; it is a good deed (however, there may be a dark version of this). A geas is a combination of a duty, need and a wish. A person will be unable do due anything else until the task is done.

Geld, Gelded:

-Castrated horse, a gelding. As Micro-Robot, the ravens had no gender, thus akin to a gelded horse.

Gorn:

-A wheat-like cereal grown on Vtaar.

Grey Harper:

-A Harper is a person who plays the Harp. A Grey Harper, is a person who only plays untruth, give false promises or/and tells tales of woe; a bringer of woe, sorrowful.

Haid:

-Wicca or Oracle, a precognitive Clairvoyant in today's term. Another well known Wicca form Aesirs' Saga is Volva of Vola-spa. I have used the characteristics of the two in Cold-Sleep.

Harken:

-Hearken, (härken) v.t. archaic. To hear; listen; heed, - v.t. Poetic.

Heimdahl:

-Legend says he was son of Odin, but born fully grown out of his mind, also that Heimdahl held all knowledge of the Aesirs and of the world. Which I translate into meaning artificial made with a mind like a Computer. This likely makes Heimdahl an Android.

Ida:

-Danish spelling of Iduna or I dun, she cared for the Aesirs' health and her Golden 'apple' kept the Aesirs from aging. I see her as a Physician and Bio-chemist.

Ice-Giant:

-Name given to the Glacier that covered almost half of the Earth. They were the Ice-Giant that walked the land.

Inter-played:

-Play, taking part in a game. A dramatic performance, inter-between actors.

Is (Ice):

-n. O.E. Common Teut. Frozen water. Blakie's Compact Etymological Dictionary. Blakie & Son Ltd. London, Glasgow.

Isbridge:

-see above. The isbridge was a Portal/Gateway to another planet/realm, located in the North Pole area and its implosion would/did release enough heat to melt the North Pole ice sheet, which caused a world wide flood (only one of several over the history of Earth). There are Portals and Gateways all over Earth, most of them have been closed for thousand of years; they went out of alignment and other ways closed, sometime between 12000 and 1 BC. (except for the Parallel Timelines' Doorways), mainly because of being out of alignment with the old passage ways, due to the Earth and our Solar System's movement through the Universe, thus sliding our past history into myth. Also, partly due to memory loss caused by the last world-wide disastrous flood and the veil of forgetfulness placed around our mind when we incarnate. Since then, as our Solar System moved through the Universe, we moved toward alignment again; we will be in perfect alignment in 2012-17. We will see many old myths come to life. All the old Portals and Gateways will open and travel to other planets and realms will again be possible. However, one can only travel to realities where one's vibrations match; it is a fence, which prevents anyone from contaminating other beings' planets, realities and societies.

Keened:

-O.E. sharp-witted, highly sensitive.

Ken:

-n. (archaic or Scottish), to know-O.E. cennan, causal form of cunnan, can, v. Understand, range of vision, perception.

Kvaeld:

-Old Danish word that means evening. I used it (in poem) as having a double meaning, which is evening and when you see the evening -you know the day and all the events that took place during the day.

Lair:

-1. The resting place or den of a wild animal. Scot. Any place for resting; a bed. Scot 2. Lore; Learning.

Loof:

-Pronounce Loo. Naut. The rounded part of a vessel's bow. Also Spelled Luff (pr. Luf). Origin of Loof uncertain.

Leean:

-Pronounced Leen

Loki:

-After the legend, he was a mischief-maker (on a grand scale) and a betrayer of the Aesirs. One can liken his action to Norway's Quisling. I decided to place him 'down under' (Australia), because the legend says he was bound on an island and because the puzzle that exist with a certain tribe of Australian aborigines, the Mansjiljiara tribe, most of them have blood type A-rh+ and their children are born blond, remain tow-haired as grow up and only get a darker hair color as adults like many Scandinavians, where the majority of people also have blood type A-rh+. This has driven many scientist crazy, because they cannot explain why. Because of this I decided it was a logical place for Odin to have left Loki and his followers and they left descendants. What most people do not realize that the Aesirs were a very high technological society and leaving people on an island without modern transportation and no means of manufacturing any, would have bound Loki and his followers forever.

Lore:

-n. O.E. ĺâr=O.S.G. lèra (Ger. Lehre), O. Teut root lais, learn. What is taught or learned. Learning, erudition.

Lyre:

(Lir) n. An ancient harp-like stringed instrument, having a hollow body and two horns bearing a crosspiece between which it and the Body were stretched the strings, generally seven.

Mead:

(med) n. A liquor of fermented honey and water to which malt, yeast and spices are added.

Odin:

-Head of the Aesirs. There are tales where he himself denies that he is a god. In today's terms, he would be classified as being a Starship Commander and the head of a colonial Outpost.

Path, The:

-Or "The Way" is the description of people seeking knowledge; they are walking The Path or The way, and it is not a road that is heavily travel. But, it is also used for people travelling between Dimensions, Realms and Timelines.

Portal(s):

-Also a doorway(s), natural or artificial created mode of travelling to other Realms, Dimensions, as the Bard did when he travel to 'there' from 'here,' it is rather like walking a "Mobius Strip." The artificial doorway is punching a hole through a wall (an energy force field), like the Elfs did going from 'there' to 'here,' but that is very dangerous, because one is dealing with energies, which are not really physical but act as they are, being a particle and a wave at the same time; running into a energy force field is as running into a solid wall and moreover, it may fry you like lightning. In addition, there are also Portals which functioning as doorways to other Planets.

Quest:

(Kwest) v. 1. The act of seeking; a looking for something; the answer is unknown.

Ragnarok:

-The last battle, in which most of the Aesirs was destroyed. Some people think this is the same disaster the Christian Bible has forecast as Armageddon (that Timeline has also changed, we are now in Ascension mode to a higher dimension), but that is wrong, Ragnarok has already happened. Ragnarok occurred at the time of one of the world-wide floods, but was it the one described in the bible as the flood, I do not know, because such world-wide floods have occurred at least three times. The legend of Odin says; he foresaw, with help of Haid or Volvo (he consulted both of them one time or another), the outcome of the battle he was about to enter, whether it was Haid or Volvo differs according to which Country tells the tales. However, what he saw was that the end result of the battle was a world-wide flood that would cover most of the Earth and few of the Aesirs would survive. Few human in general survived. It is also possible that event provided Mankind with a case of mass-amnesia, because it was too terrible to remember and the reason that human history can barely remember more than 2000 years, at most, China reached a little further about 10.000 years, but, most tales which are really part of our history is remembered only as myths.

Ravens:

-The legend tells that Odin had two Ravens, who sat on his shoulders and told him everything that went on in the world. This in today's technology would make them micro-robots connected to a remote orbiting satellite.

Reddick:

-Capital City and Spaceport on Gardia, was originally called 'Red Dogwood' by the first settlers, because of the trees in that area reminded them of a tree, which grew on Earth, of that name. The name got contracted with the passing of Time and the peculiarities and changes of speech-pattern.

Rising Sun (The):

-Symbol of the Japanese people and their ancestors.

Rowth:

(Rooth, Routh) cot, adj. Abundant. -n. Plenty; Abundance (of the right or wrong kind).

Sage:

(Säj) A venerable, man/woman of recognized experience, prudence and foresight; a profoundly wise counselor or philosopher; far seeing wisdom and prudence; wise.

Spat:

-p.t. Spit, people who argue hotly, has a tendency to spit a great deal. Used Spat in poem as "slang" for arguing.

Spectra:

-Latin; means larva, a not fully grown member of a species.

Serpent's Tooth (The):

-The Serpent was an important symbol, representing a God-like being for the South American Aztecs Indians. Also, referred to as the feathered serpent or Quetzalcoatl.

Talent Sorter:

-This is a special Psychic talent, a person who can see the specific psychic talent(s) a being has, even when they are still babies. Thus, their education would be geared to the development and enhancement of that ability(ties).

Thunderbirds (The):

-North American Eskimos and some Indian tribes have legends that says that their ancestors or some god-like being flew in vehicles resembling birds in shape and sounded like thunder (Airplanes or Spaceships with very load motors), they were brought North because of a world-wide disaster (one of the three Floods). Many of the old legend and tales were not understood or believed, simple because, society, in the Past was not advance enough to understand the technology. And, mostly by the mistaken notion that our ancestors were primitive. Before the world wide disasters and wars, our ancestors were more advances than our society is at the present (2008).

Tuathan:

(old) Tuathan De' Danaan (the children of Danaan), pre-Celtic Pantheon, god of Light and Goodness. In my Poem, he was kneeling, weeping and reeling, because no one believes in the old gods anymore, which makes him powerless-unable to help.

Tuigim:

-Irish, meaning 'I understand' (cf. English-twig, twigged, twigging, slang). 1. To observe closely; notice or watch. 2. To comprehend, understand. Tuigim is pronounced: Tu-i-kim (my way).

Twennr:

-Scot. Archaic, meaning double.

Twibil:

-A double-bladed battle-ax; a twibil problem is a double edged dilemma.

Vanirs:

People, who originated from the dimension next to Midgard (Earth), in the past these dimension was close together, then moved apart (2008, they are now moving together again -including all of the fairy-realms). They then called their world Vanaheim. Sometime they fought with the Aesirs, but they also inter-married. They are also known as Elves (plural), Elve (single), as a people (Elven). And, do not confuse them with Elfs (plural), Elf (single) as a people Fairies, no matter what the Dictionaries says, they are wrong; Elves and Elf are two different Species/Races and they do not even remotely look alike. Also, see Foos.

Vector:

-1. Math, a line representing a physical quantity that has magnitude and direction in space, as well as velocity, acceleration or force; like the Gnome making superior Mead.

Wane:

-vi. O.E. Wanian, f. wan, won, deficient. Cf. O.N. vana, to decrease, f. vanr. Ger. Eunis, bereft of. To decease, esp. oft he moon, to decline. -n. Decline.

Waster:

-My name for Nuclear Power. But it can be applied to many chemical inventions, which has produced many poisoning wastes as a side-effects of production.

Weren Creed:

-Were people, shape-shifters, can shift shape to a variety of animals and back, most well known are Werewolves. Elves are known to take on the shape of a deer.

Wherefore:

-adv. (old use) for what reason, for this reason.

Vtaar:

-A planet where all the people are telepathic and peaceful, if not, they would be considered deformed. Vtaar is pronounced V-taar.

Yahweh:

-Origin Yiddish; old name, in the Old Testament for the One who created the Jewish people. I consider the Old Testament as a written down history of the Jewish people. However, so much of our real world history is missing and so many lies have been told.

Ymers:

-Giants beings, ancient enemies of the Aesirs, but they also appear in some tales as relatives. Such as Odin's Mother is reported as being one of the Giants. They are sometimes confused with tales of Ice-Giants. The Ice-Giants was the name given to the glaciers the covered all of Northern Europe in the last Ice Age, and as the tale says, "all fled from them as they walk the land."
