But Dr. -----, you do not understand, you communicate by speech, words only. For Empaths and Telepaths communicate by inter-action by mind and soul, they become part of each other. They literally blend, even when apart by physical distance they can touch and for me to follow your advice and find someone else is not possible, for me, there is no other.
I have memory of many other lifetimes where we are together, we are Soul-Mates. In this life we are separated by Time and Cultural Mores and the none-memory of whom and what we are. In this reincarnation my Soul-Mate is in a body, which has undeveloped Telepathic powers, a sender only, an unaware sender, but occasionally the broadcast is strong enough to reach me; after which the emptiness hurts even more. The terrible void, the hollow feeling in your chest, the ache you feel when your love is beyond your reach.
No one who has not experience a 'blending' would understand the pain and hopelessness of being without your mate. Your concept of marriage and the way you live your marriages is but a shadow of the real thing. So, you see Dr., I have been ill because my immune system has been affected, not because I am depressed, but because I am grieving over a loss. A loss, I will carry with me for the rest of this life and beyond, as long as I and my Soul-Mate are apart.
No number of your little pills will help me nor will your advise to become involved with someone else, that would also be a deliberate hurt to some one else, to get involve under false pretences. Those with my abilities already know what is wrong with me and they know they cannot help or substitute for my mate. They can support me and they do, they are my friends.
But, there are so few of us and we have difficulty in being in company with people in severe pain for too long a time. We feel others hurt and we can only dampen it for a short time. Because of our abilities we are prone to be loners, especially if we are in pain, the type of pain healers cannot cure.
For us to get involved with a person with no psychic abilities is the same as being alone, for there is not real communication between a person with abilities and a person with no abilities.
We have become, by the fact of our abilities, a different Specie, from the main stream of Homo Sapiens. Even more different than any of the Races that are separated by skin color, our abilities is not separated by race, but it runs through and across all the human races, our kin is generated from all parts of humanity. Also, human are looking at many things backward, for example they think/believe that humanity is one Specie (Homo Sapiens) and many Races, they are wrong, they are one Spiritual Race (The Explorer Race) inhabiting physical matter bodies. And those bodies are of many different Species, with genes from all over the Universe; we know, with our abilities such things cannot be hidden.
Maybe we are the Future to come, the Forerunners to a time where all of humanity will think of themselves as One People, no matter of their background.
