Baby-Sitting

I went over to two friends of mine, to pick up several Cacti plants they had been given to them. Although, avid gardeners, they were not very fond of cacti plants and asked me if I wanted them. I said yes, since I like cacti plants. I got to their place and took a look at the plants, at once I knew I was not looking at ordinary plants, for one thing they reacted to my touch and I sensed they were sentient, Plantoids, in fact. They were also aware of me and knew that I knew they were not just plants, but I did not let on to my friends. Took plant pots and thank my friends for them and left.
When I got outside the house, I put the smallest pot in my right coat pocket, held the middle pot in the middle of my left arm. The biggest cacti had climbed out of its pot and fastened itself to my coat arm, near the right shoulder and hung there flatten out. It rather looked a quilted patch and nobody, on the bus, noticed; at least I did not get any strange stare on my way home.
I went straight into my living room; put the two pots and the empty pot on my living room floor. The one on my arm, unfasten itself and jump down from my arm and crawled into its pot, but sat on top of the soil. Standing up on its feet, it looked up into my eyes with the pair of the greenest eyes I have ever seen and said "Hi." Then it looked around at all my green plants and flowers and said, "This nice, we like here." It was broken English, which was naturally, to them a foreign language. I was delighted that they had learned enough English, so we were able to communicate. Later I learned that there was more to why they speak the way they do, but not because English was a foreign language to them.
First, I will describe what they look like, the biggest and the tallest, which I though of "Green" is 12 centimeter tall and 3.4 centimeter wide, tapering to 2.2 centimeter on top; this was its length while sitting; standing up on its feet (roots) it increased its height to 17.5 Centimeters. His color was bright green, with lumps all over (I say he, because he reminded me of a little, very inquisitive boy) and no spines. When I think of it, they all reminded me of a Montrose Totem Pole, specifically Sophocereus Schottü Monstrosus. On of the bumps sat right in the middle of his face and rather looks like a nose, even if he did not need it for breathing. None of them had any ears, but they told me they pick up sound wave with their whole body. When they are sleeping and not talking, it was almost impossible to see where their eyes and mouth were located. The other two were smaller. The second one was 1/3 smaller than Green and the smallest on was ½ Green size; they were also green in color, but in different shades of green, the middle one was a Yellowy-Green and the smallest on had a Pinkish-Green. So I said, "I will call you Green, Yellow and Pink." Not our names, Green said, "I am Plax, he is Plix and she is Plux." "Ok, you got your own names." Now the next question is, "how did you get here?" Plax answered "We go brommmm in big ship." Not much of an answer, then I asked "do you remember where your planet is." Plix answered while waving his right arm over his head, "No, we go brommmm long time." Then I realized they were not talking they way they did because of having difficulty with English, they were not adult, they were babies, maybe in range of human babies from 2-4 years old; the youngest was equal to 2 years old and the oldest maybe to a 4 years old child.
Moreover, they are cute little cusses and feisty. But, how the heck do I get them home?
