To Honored Cleo,

Greetings Honor Cleo. I am Theo Treeas (class of PA: 82). At the present I am the Psionic Officer on the Star-Cruiser Comet. We have just left the planet Gardia (co-ordinance enclosed). This was my first landing on Gardia, a most unusual planet. I wanted to report that there is some sort of psionics at work on Gardia. I cannot attain if the planet is sentient or if there is a geas on the planet. My focus is people and at a fairly short distance. There is no crime on Gardia of any kind or do they have any jails. If a ship lands with persons who have criminal tendencies, they are unable to leave the ship and takes refuge in their cabin and do not emerge until the ship has left Gardia.

The inhabitants of Gardia do not originate on the planet. The inhabitants appear to be similar species/origin, (both are carbon-based), except for their height. The tall ones (Humans) range in height from 5 to 7 feet and the smaller ones (Senooles) are all about 3 feet tall. The most curious thing about them both of them is the range of their eye color, which are black, brown, hazel, blue, green and grey and with multi-nuances within those colors.

There are only faint traces of earlier inhabitants.

The present inhabitants seem unaware of anything unusual about their planet; at least no one talks about the subject. Also, they charge exorbitant prices for many of their goods (although they are first class), which apparently is not considered criminal behavior of what or whoever is watching over the planet. One could speculate that it is protecting the population against outsider, but it also works against the population itself. There have not been any recorded cases of murder in the last 1000 years, and their police force is engaged in a range of activities that have little to due with what occupies most police forces. It is a vey interesting planet, one that begs for a closer investigation.

I almost forgot to mention, that the planet's records says, that the original name of the planet was not Gardia. They have listed two other names and the inhabitants are unsure of which of them are correct. The first one is "Guardian," which in their language means "The Protector" and the second name is "Gardenia," which is the name of some kind of flower, which grew on the tall one's home planet.
