Hell?
1. For us, hot Hell is not,
Nor Brimstones or ever burning fires.
2. We of Aesirs blood and Viking creed.
Still in our cells remember Hell.
3. Remember when our Sun grew dim
And twilight fell. When green trees Died
And animal froze, standing on their feet.
4. When the Ice Giants walked the land.
Huddled we sat around small fires.
Keeping out a frost so cold
That it could freeze you Soul.
5. Remembering even older times,
Whence we sailed between the Stars.
Across the silent, empty void.
Where the cold reigned so darkly,
That Time itself froze.
6. No, for us, hot Hell is not,
Nor Brimstones or ever-burning fires.
7. We have known Hell!
And, it is cold; so cold,
It will freeze your Soul.
